Interpretive Categories: make-up,plaster

Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: raised area (platform); Material: plaster; Deposition: homogeneous; Basal Spit: unpainted

Discussion: The earliest plastered platform documented in the south-eastern corner of Sp.537 of B.142. It abutted the southern massive mud-brick foundation of the building and was sealed by series of ashy deposits (see U.22893, U.22847 & U.22847). The northern limit of the platform was defined by a relatively high bench F.7698. The eastern edge of this feature was in its central part truncated by an uspecified pit (a ladder retrieval pit?).
