Discussion: This infill/make-up was defined within cut 22872. It was also partly placed on top of a mudbrick belonging to u. 22864. The layer had a massive bedding with scarce inclusions. It was placed deirectly underneath a wall consisting of u. 22860/61 and therefore might be interpreted as a make-up layer.
The basal boundary was partly distinct (top of a mudbrick) and partly arbitrary - on the same level as the bottom of the above mentioned mudbrick.
Further on, during 2015 excavation, the layer underneath 22859 was removed as 22864. Since both units shared characteristics and the boudary between them was arbitrary, it was decided that they represent the same deposition episode.
