Discussion: A thin skin of earth had been left against South wall. This was removed stratigraphically. Third layer removed is 2304. Contains much plaster and brick & one complete clay ball. Plaster behind very badly affected by roots and cracking

Colour: 2.5 / Y? black to 4/4 brown 

Texture: silty clay loam

Inclusions: 70% building material; 5% charcoal; 2% <2 mm rounded stone; 23% clay 

Post-depositional Features: massive root and crack bioturbation, salts against plaster 

Basal Boundary: anthropogenic; inclined 45 degrees, irregular, uneven
