Description: U23437 covered the eastern part of Platform F7638, below U23430. It seems to be contemporaneous with U23438, found further in the East at the depression with similar characteristics.
Discussion: U23437 was a floor on Platform F7638, made of lime and mud plaster, and having been severely burnt. Barley impressions were found on top of its surface.
U23437 went up against northern Wall F7766; Bench F2184, U23439 and Wall F2184.

Colour: Black, dark grey, light grey
Texture: Sand
Bedding: Thin compound layers
Inclusions: Tiny flecks of charcoal
Post-depositional Features: Compaction by floors above; western part has been destroyed.
Basal Boundary: Constructional, levelled, distinct, smooth, flat and even.
