Description: dark grey coloured layer 

Discussion: This is also roomfill but this one has much bigger chunks of brick aggregates. Almost same matrix with (2374) apart form mortaring and plastering and brick aggregates. This one underlies the levelling layer which is situated underneath the wall 254.
- This deposition may have taken a place after the wall (78(?) collapsed (if we this abbot its proximity to this area.

Colour: 10 YR light yellowish brown & 10 YR 6/3 pale brown 

Texture: silty clay loam 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: brick aggregates 40%; >5cm irregular basic distribution
