Unit 2519
Category: layer dug in 1997
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: inter-building fill
Data Category Information: Location: between walls; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: The space 73 seems to be isolated from building 1 at the eastern edge. The floor level is composed of two parallel mudbrick walls, on in s. edge another is close to the north edge (under the western wall). Moreover, I encountered mudbrick slab under the northern wall. The place among these wall features are very clayish (very compact) with a plaster lump. These should be the deposit fell down from top, I.e. roof.
On the other hand two stone clusters with many individual. stones scattered one in S.E. edge, another at the middle of western edge. When we look around the cluster we see ashy (incl. charcoal) in fill, These were probably fire installations! Second idea might be that the stones were dumped within the fill.*
