Discussion: Very mixed interface between the 2 deposits NE corner especially a combination of what was above it . NW corner very clay . Sloping down at an angle and so looks as though it has been dumped from north wall. 

Execution: pick& trovel 

Condition: windy & cold 

Consistency: strength varies as mixed deposit - some is very dense+ strong, other part is weak . 

Colour: 10 YR 4/4 (some inclusions, 2cm, of 10 YR 6/8 + 10 YR 5/1 ) 

Texture: sandy clay loam ? - some pure clay - mixed 

Bedding: unoriented 

Inclusions: charcoal <2% , chalky substance some white siliceous plant remains near edge , some very small roots patchy deposit -dark brown - light brown- orange, occassional fragmented animal bone + occassional fragmented animal bone + occassional lumps of plaster. 

Post-depositional Features: some small roots 

Basal Boundary: Dumped , clear-gradual, distinct-faint, smooth-wavy, inclined ( ~ 20 degrees) surface = fairly flat
