Area: North
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking; Material: brick&mortar; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 4.9 m N-S / 0.3 m W-E / 0.23 thick
Description: Composite layer of 2580 and 2851. See detailed description in 2580 and 2581.
Discussion: Composite of bricks (2580) and mortar (2581)
The bricks of 2582 are laying on top of a dark brownish clay with flecks of charcoal and salt. The bricks of 2582 seem to be sunken into this clay at some places as the clay comes up over the sides of the bricks in a few places. Like mortar ?
