Description: As recognised in the rows and the courses. Colour is yellowish brown. The bricks are crumbly to fine granular, slightly sticky and plastic, texture is almost silty clay with little sand. most of the bricks are dry a weathered in some extent. All of them clearly visible and have sharp edges. None of them indicates post depositional features. Most of the bricks are having already burnt brick fragments (5% and 2mm) little charcoal ( 10% and 1mm).
Discussion: Top course of bricks slightly eroded, especially the towards the SE corner and SW corner. Towards the SW corner, top layer almost disappears. Goes with mortar 2598.
