Discussion: Mottled burial fill, contained aggregates of floor plaster, plaster, charcoal and clay. The floor plaster frags are very similar to floors burial is cut through and therefore the backfill is likely to originate from the material excavated for the burial cut. However, it does contain charcoal which doesn't appear in the floors so some material may have been brought in - or it was derived from the FI 82.

The floors this burial cuts were excavated before this burial was found, therefore the northern end of the fill was excavated as (2756).

NB: having overlain .. .. plans it appears that the burial was but through (2751) and therefore the matrix has been changed accordingly.
