Discussion: Plaster surface and interesting make up dipping down against slumped west face of wall 253. These project out only some 0.2 m from wall and many represent platform later cut away (??)

Cylindrical clay object (X1) was lying in make up right against wall face.

These deposits underlie eroded upper part of wall F253 which was taken out as (2750) but above lower part of wall.

Condition: sunny and warm 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: 2.5 Y 6/3 light yellowish brown, plaster, 2.5 Y 5/3 light olive brown, fill 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: compund layered 

Inclusions: c. 50 % plaster aggregates, c. 2 % brick aggregates, < 2 % small charcoal flecks 

Post-depositional Features: sparce fine roots 

Basal Boundary: sharp, sloping down to E
