Discussion: Continuing room fill sp. 112. Roughly same material as overlying layer 2890. Moderate amount of complete shells + some bone. Frequent presence of large (10 cm) plaster fragments particularly in vicinity of cuts 2855 and 2875. Abutting new wall in S.
Recognition: Structural debris infill.
Definition: 1/2 sectioned in N, cut by 2855, defined by walls in S, E and W.
Execution: By trowel + handpick.
Consistency: moderately hard, medium crumbly
Colour: 10 YR 3/4 dark greyish brown
Texture: silty clay
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: frequent large plaster lumps, mudbrick + mortar, occasional shell (small) occasional small charcoal + bone, rare small obsidian
Post-depositional Features: some root activity + frequent salt
Basal Boundary: sharp, clear + level (flat) + anthropogenic

Unit description: A small unit, very fragmented, only 2 pieces larger than 3 cm. Mostly sheep/goat sized, but some cow/horse sized. Weathering is variable. Minimal burning. No gnawing or digestion. Almost all scrap-- a few long bone shaft fragments, rib pieces, cranial bits, tooth fragments, one vertebral epiphysis and one horn core bit. No IDed bone. Sample 2 >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. Ut is a smallish sample, with a number of little rolled crumbles and a few larger pieces, none of it very fresh. Looks like fill.
