Discussion: The unit 30225 was excavated by trowel. It contained redeposited material of Roman-style mudbricks. Small number of finds including bone, pottery, and groundstone. It was extremely difficult to recognize 30225 as a separate unit due to the robber's trench f.3987 in its vicinity. Also contained Neolithic mudbrick material. It was partially cut into by the robber's trench f. 3987. 

Consistency: compact but not entirely homogenous-- may be blurred with fill from robber's trench f. 3987, which is looser 

Colour: gray-brown and orange 

Texture: silty clay loam 

Bedding: compound 

Inclusions: redeposited Roman mudbricks and Neolithic material 

Post-depositional Features: N/A 

Basal Boundary: diffuse, sloping, accidentally dug through
