Unit 30532

Category: Layer    dug in 2014

Area: North

Interpretive Categories: plaster and very thick makeup

Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: raised area (platform); Material: plaster

Discussion: Layer 30532 is very particular in platfom F.3695 due to its very thick make up. This layer is foundational. It raises the level and extend the surface of the platform on top of an old platform (F.7606), thus creating F.3695 in top of F.7606. This event of construction of a new platform on top of an old one is contemporary of the change of phase in space 94 by the construction of a new floor (F.2176) which also has a very thick foundational make up layer (u.30539).
Layer 30532 is also covering burial F.7605 made within platform F.7606 but not plastered. This burial can be seen either as a termination event of F.7606 or a foundational event of F.3695.
