Discussion: This fill was excavated as a possible burial fill. However, upon excavation it became apparent that this fill was actually not from a burial. The unit was not entirely excavated in 2013. It is the make-up of platform F. 3617, and it is not a closed unit. The plan for this unit will change. BT, 04/08. 

 

Consistency: Soft. 

Colour: Brown, orangish brown. 

Texture: Silty clay. 

Bedding: Massive. 

Inclusions: Phytoliths, specs of charcoal, clay aggregates (chunks of clay), specs of plaster, gypsum. 

Post-depositional Features: Salts, disturbance by roots and animals. 

Basal Boundary: Unclear.
