Unit 30729
Category: Cut dug in 2013
Area: TPC
Interpretive Categories: Pit cut
Data Category Information: Description: pit
Discussion: This unit was recognized by excavating the pit fill u.30719. It represents a later cut made into pit f.7167, perhaps as part of the construction of building 120. It follows the larger cut [u.30743] for pit f.7167 at the S edge, where it is round, but cuts across/through pit fill which existed before the wall f.3948 was built. It was likely made as a way of establishing a foundation for wall f.3948, much like terracing cut [u.30229].
