Description: This is a cluster of barley, cirkular shaped in plan, found amid room fill U 20703. 

Discussion: In the burned soil of room fill u.20703, we saw a circular deposit of charred barley seeds. This likely represents a hanging basket which fell during the destruction of space 493. It was collected in its entirety by EJ, so no archive or flotation samples were collected.
It can be argued, that instead of it originating from a hanging basket, a small pouch or other organic container was thrown in during the destruction of space 493. That would also result in a circular shaped deposit.
