Discussion: It was a layer in the SW corner of Trench 2 lying partly under u.30782 (mudbrick mixed up with soil) and fragment of midden (u.30823). As it was placed directly on top of one of the platforms of B.121, and it was similar in character to fill of this building, it was defined as a part of the same infill.
It consisted of firm, multicoloured sandy clay with inclusions of plaster and rubble bricks. A big brick was also found on top of S part of the layer. In its W part, just under the midden layer (u.30870), a substantial charcoal inclusion and burnt bones were also found. The basal boundary of that layer was distinct. Apart from the most E part, where it was placed straight on dirty floor of B.121 (u.30815), it was deposited on a more or less dirty plaster and the surface was more clayish then in our layer.
