Discussion: We classified this unit as separate from the others because it was not continuous with the units around it. Rather, it seemed to have been constructed on top of the construction material (31147), and extended partially onto Unit 31150. This unit was made of white, finer plaster over a coarser gray plaster. When the plaster which separated easily from the construction plaster, was removed, phytoliths were exposed (sample collected). Due to the small size of the unit, the entire unit was collected ofr flotation and archive samples. 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: white, gray underneath 

Texture: silt 

Bedding: layered: white plaster, then gray plaster 

Inclusions: phytoliths 

Post-depositional Features: NA 

Basal Boundary: sloping, plaster behind F.3377
