Discussion: The unit 31242 became visible when exposing the outlines of the layer U.31237. It was ist clear boundary to the west in ist slightly curved slope. It was separated from the activity surface 31240 bz the thin fill U.31241. It was connected to the plaster layers 31243 and 31244 bz a small patch of what seemed to be a mixture of several materials. In contrast to 31240, 31242 did not show any burned surfaces. 

Consistency: compact 

Colour: light brown, almost white 

Texture: clay-silt 

Bedding: massive
