Unit 31252
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: Trench 5
Interpretive Categories: gray surface underneath the 3391 layer
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: There was a section cut to investigate Feature 3391. The layer 31252 was expected to come up and therefore could be easily distinguished from the layer above. There was a small layer of dark brown fill between it and Unit 31240, which is directly connected to F.3391.
The layer 31252 does not seem to be as firm as the other floors in Building 98, but it seems clear to me that it was a used surface at some point, as it appears to be clay that has been pressed tight through usage. Because of the small section, the outlines of the layer could not be investigated.
