Unit 3128
Category: layer dug in 1998
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: Brick
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking; Material: brick; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: 0.69 x 0.24 x 0.085
Discussion: (3128) represents two bricks at the base of wall [56], surround above and to the west by the in-fill material (3119). It differs markedly from the rest of the brick in [56] because of its high clay content. It musty have been put in place before the in-fill material (3119) was added, apparently to level the area and provide a foundation from the upper courses of brick above (3128) and round the corner (i.e. (3105))
