Description: post Chalcolithic 

Discussion: This wall was very heavily compacted and formed a border of an oven (f 7159). Part of the wall had collapsed into the centre of the pit, and was removed as fill (u31311)/ This was photographed prior to its removal. While samples were taken for this unit, no artefacts were recovered. 

Consistency: compact, firm 

Colour: mid grey 

Texture: clay 

Bedding: massive, very steep 

Inclusions: charcoal, burnt clay 

Post-depositional Features: rodent disturbances 

Basal Boundary: concave, against firm sediment
