Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: oven; Material: pise-like; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: The superstructure (U.31569) of the oven F.7854 had been recorded as 6-16cm height rim made of silty-clay, encircling the ovoid base (U.31570) of the mentioned fire installation. It remained in relatively good state of preservation unfortunately only in the lower part. Upper segment of the cupola was not survived which might be referred to the abandonment activities related with demolition the internal furniture of B.132. The presented unit 31569 constituted the construction that was erected directly on the surface of destroyed base (u.32018) of an earlier oven. Width of the rim restricting the whole feature (F.7854) differed depending on the sides, respectively to the West it measured 14cm and to the East it measured 12cm. Also the parts attached to the S-wall (F.3679) of Sp.531 preserved in higher position (up to 16cm) than the ones recorded to the Northern.
It seems that before setting the superstructure (31569) the old one must have been destroyed completely. And afterwards the new was set.
