Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: pedestal/podium/plinth; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: A thick layer of mid-white plaster U.32051 was recorded as adjacent part to Northern face of curtain-wall construction (F.7735). The on-field examination of the plaster revealed that most plausibly it might have been a later addition aiming to extend or repair the mentioned structure. Unfortunately, the activities related with abandonment phase of B.132 caused massive destruction of the curtain-wall as well as the adjacent plasters. Hence, the presented here unit represents the only one trace of remodeling of the low division (F.7735).
Nevertheless, considering the fact that the plaster overlaid a surface of floor which overlapped the earlier construction of the curtain-wall one may state that the heavily tempered by organic material white paste must have been put at some point of use of the shallow division. And as such it may be regarded as a repair or modification of the curtain wall that took place only in its Northern part. Worth noticing is that the plaster did not continue to the nearby floor surface and it seemed to be set individually as a result of an independent, immediate action.
