Discussion: The layer of the grouped floors and underlying make-ups assigned as U.32090 had been recorded within the whole interior of the Sp.531, except for Southern dirty area and platforms (NE -F.7722, E -F.7734). As such, the mentioned surface extended within major part of the room. It characterized by the undulating appearance which respected the shape of the underlying packing deposit U.32761. The southern limit of the floor was established arbitrarily along the line extended parallel 2m to the S-wall F.3679. the division was substantiated by the delineation of the dirty area.
In order to better understand and conceive the activities that took place in the earliest phases of the SP. 531 the decision had been made to collect several samples from different parts of the room to be analyzed afterwards by the specialists. Consequently:
S.1 – was taken as the sample of a dirt/ash from above the painted patch of floor which constituted S.7
S.2 – was taken as flotation sample from central part of the room
S.3 – S.6 – were collected randomly from the surface of the floor as phytolith sample.
S.7 – painted patch of the floor
S.8 – archive sample
S.9 – additional flotation sample from NW part of the Floor layer.

The layer U.32090 composed of several (5) plastered floors that constituted actually the earliest surfaces of use within the Sp.531. However, in the course of the exploration it appeared that the features that compose the internal furniture of the room had been set in different phases of the occupation. For instance the NW-platform F.7722 had been formed as the earliest one on top of the single white coating layer composing the U.32090. Afterwards, the platform was overlapped by others (2) layers of the floor assigned under the same unit number (U.32090). Then there had been added small E-extension (U.32763) which was also covered by the white floor - 32090.
The two columns (central one– F.7727 and Eastern one – F.7726) that were set against N-wall F.7584, must be regarded as related with the later phase of the occupation judging by the number (3) of floors 32090 that were recorded below the both of the mentioned features.

Finds Room Information:

All material from site passes through the finds room for washing and separating before it is passed onto the various lab teams. The finds room keeps a basic inventory of what is found. A finds material type list is given here. Further analytical detail maybe provided by the Lab Team data below.
