Description: fragmented, remained at sides and base of oven along east and west only. Ran up sides for 0.20m extended out from sides for 0.10m and was 0.02m thick.

Discussion: original lining of the Oven F.7953. 32378 adhered firmly to the undrlying clay superstructure (32376) at the sides of the oven but came away from the rubble in-fill (32379) of the oven very easily. The underlying deposits had not been exposed to post-deposition in the oven and were sealed by 32378.

Colour: white 

Texture: marl plaster 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: very occasional small flecks of charcoal 

Post-depositional Features: eroded at centre. 

Basal Boundary: anthropogenic;abrupt;prominent;smooth
