Discussion: Cut in SW corner of B.131, use unclear but likely to be a hearth or fire pit due to the charcoal found in the fill. One of series of cuts in this area, including features 7998 & 7997 which are cut into the layer above this. These features, which appear to be a hearth (7996) , burned remains of textile/basket (7997) & another small pit (7998) may be somehow related, but is is unclear exactly how.
