Discussion: Bricks in wall lying horizontally in space 159 in building 5. Was found under a place where the W wall (still in situ F227) has been damaged. High probability the horizontal wall is part of the W wall, fallen or pulled down deliberately.
Relations: the fallen wall rests on an accumulated deposit (3228-3243) on the floor but the S end of the wall rests directly on the floor (3253).
Dimensions: the horizontal wall is 1.1 x 1 m (N - S/E - W). Depth: the bricks vary: length:1.1 - 0.7 m. Width: 0.1 - 0.06 m.
Material from baulk dry sieved. 

Recognition: Horizontal wall under fill. 

Definition: Wall consisting of bricks and mortar. 

Execution: Trowel, excavated by trowel, with 1 baulk. 

Condition: Moist. 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: 10 YR 5/4 yellowish brown 

Texture: clay;silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: <1% charcoal
