Description: Mud brick laid on edge it was burnt through out its length. This burning presented as a blackening of the fabric and a concentration of ash in the east and a scorching of the fabri to a light reddish brown in the west

Context not sampled. 

Discussion: Excavated upon the advice of the conservation team amid fears that F7995 would not survive intat into the nerxt digging season, 32544 was excavated out of phase. Plaster surface 32381 of Platform 7950 continued on to the north face of 7995 and should have been removed before 32544. However, there was not sufficient time to do this at the end of the 2016 Season. A 0.20m fragmant of 32544 has been left in-situ at the west end of F7995 where it bonds with wall 7708 of which it seems to be an extension. This fragment has been left to allow for a detailed investigation of the relationshyip between 32544 and 7708 and to show the realtionship between 32544 and 32381
.
