Discussion: - The thick (8cm) make-up / packing deposit U.32726 had been recorded below the plaster floors 32701. Actually, the irregular deposit which composed mostly of broken and crushed building materials of different type formed the shape of the West-Central platform F.8321. Within the layer there were many inclusions such as fragments of brick, mortar and plasters that most plausibly come from demolished construction. the layer overlying plastered floor 32090 revealed already in the central part of the Sp.531.
The peculiar recycle proceedings must have employed the use of water in order to prepare the mixture (paste) that was added to the crushed pieces. In that way the paste could be easily applied and modeled, gaining the desire form and thickness. As regards to the latest aspect, the thickness of the make-up/packing varied considerably depending on the area of application. Accordingly, along the Eastern edge the layer was 8cm thick. Alternatively, the Western part of the make-up/packing was ca. 1cm thick. Taking into account the easily recognizable pieces of several types of the materials it is clear that before the preparation of the mixture respective fragments of bricks and plaster had not been powdered, but they had been only roughly crushed. The latter resulted in definable difference between the particular elements.
