Discussion: It is quite a thick layer which is same as (3107) and (3129). At that half of the room fill we gave one number to (3107) and (3129) both. We are digging them together without separating.
Half sectioned to the N and to the S this unit was arbitrarily half sectioned but (3380) represents the two units combined (SF).
Recognition: Structural debris type material, patches of white, brown, ornage and dark-grey.
Definition: Boundaries fairly clear, up to walls in W,E and S (defined by walls) and up to section in N.
Execution: 1/2 sectioned by trowel and mattock (handpick).
Condition: Moderately moist and moderately hard.
Consistency: soft/friable mixed with firm
Colour: 10 YR 3/4 dark yellowish brown (dominant), 10 YR 6/6 brownish yellow (coprolite?), 10 YR 8/1 white (plaster), 10 YR 3/1 very dark grey (mudbrick)
Texture: silty clay
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: flecks of charcoal (10%), occasional small coprolite, building material c. 50%
