Unit 3451
Category: layer dug in 2000
Area: Trench I
Interpretive Categories: Ploughsoil
Data Category Information: Description: arbitrary allocation for samples
Dimensions: 5 x 4m, 0.20m deep
Discussion: Spit of lower ploughsoil in SE quadrant of 10 x 10m trench. There seems to be quite a lot of human bone in here, including some clusters that might represent disturbance but not far from 'in situ' skeletons were identified and numbers 3452 and 3453 were given to the bones collected. The rest has been left - hopefully we wont have to dig that area as we now know we placed our 10 x 10m trench further east than necessary.
