Discussion: Mixed deposit different kinds of soil, clay, silty clay and some sandy clay. Collapsed mudbrick with mortar to the inner parts of the entrance. It had clear borders with next layer.

Stopped excavating when the corner of the other side of the wall appeared.

It was difficult to excavate because the soil had lots of clay in it. 

Recognition: The deposit is our profile so it was very clear to recognise it. 

Definition: Very clear within profile. 

Execution: By mattock and trowel. 

Condition: Dry, wet into depths. 

Consistency: friable 

Colour: 10 YR 4/3; 10 YR 6/3 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive, wavy 

Inclusions: some charcoal, small pieces of bones
