Discussion: This unit came under unit (3645). It has a different soil type than upper layer, less compact and easy to excavate.

It also contained some thin lenses like ash and sandy stuff. A big scapula and some other things, including two pieces of clayballs have been found. 

 

Recognition: Deposit on profile. 

Definition: Clear boundaries within profile. 

Execution: By mattock. 

Condition: Dry, wet into deep. 

Consistency: compact-strong 

Colour: 10 YR 6/4, 10 YR 4/2, 10 YR 7/1 

Texture: clay + silty clay 

Bedding: massive, wavy 

Inclusions: some charcoal, bones 

Post-depositional Features: disturbance by roots, salts
