Unit 3779
Category: layer dug in 1998
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: packing material
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: posthole; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: c. 1.0 m N-S (longest) x c.0.38 m E-W (widest) x c.0.08 m deep
Discussion: This seems to be a layer of packing on the W side of the floors in space 159. The E edge seems to be like a cut. After excavation, very faint traces of a pit cut has been found.
The layer itself generally seemed to be like infill. It was a mixed soil, had pieces of mortar and plaster in it.
Recognition: While taking out (3759) I came to a part where there weren't any floors. It seemed to be packing material. It peeled off the same yellow floors.
