Discussion: This unit represents the cut of a pit located respecting the W wall of space 159. The cut was easy to recognise on the N, because it truncated the fellow floors, so it was apparent but quite hard to define towards the S. So the definition was made while excavating. One interesting thing is that the NE part of the cut has some plaster lining which has obviously worn out on the other sides of the cut.

Alternative category - retreival pit unsure; medium to high. 

 

Recognition: A thin strip of line recognised between a fill that cut the yellow coloured floors. It was recognised through excavation to the south. 

Definition: A cut that respects the W wall of space 159. 

Execution: Leaf trowel. 

Condition: Good. 

Shape: half circular 

Sides: concave 

Base Break: gradual 

Base: irregular
