Dimensions: 93 N-S x 108 W-E x 6 cm 

Discussion: Medium compaction, dark yellowish to brown coloured deposit, small to medium sized clay pieces mixed up with plaster brick and other collapsed building debris. Especially increments of the clay blobs within the context increase the compaction.

P.S. The baulk (which is marked as A- on sketch) started to be removed in two different contexts and the deposits in the baulk added to the N areas as part of them. That adds a further 20 cm to the general dimension. The texture and other characteristics of the deposit continued without change.

Execution: Trowel and leaf. 

Condition: Moist. 

Consistency: friable but medium high compaction 

Colour: 10 YR 5/4 to 4/4 yellowish brown to dark yellowish brown 

Texture: silty clayey soil, partially clay increase, plastic and sticky 

Bedding: layered 

Inclusions: brick agg. (<4 cm <5 %) plaster agg. (<5 cm <2 %) charcoal (<1 cm <2%) 

Post-depositional Features: salt 

Basal Boundary: wavy/anthropogenic/
