Discussion: Apparently (3925) is the continuation of (3698) and (3915) because it has the same length, width and its own characteristic type of soil, different than its surroundings.

(3698) ends up on the floor, which is apparently underlying at the bottom of the orange infill, unit (3903). 

 

Recognition: White clayish layer, quite plastic, right below unit (3915) has the same inclusions and different from its neighbourhood. 

Definition: The type of soil helped to define its boundaries. Clear boundaries upto baulk. 

Execution: Leaf trowel. 

Condition: Moist. 

Consistency: firm 

Colour: 10 YR 6/4 light yellowish brown 

Texture: clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: organic remains 2% 

Post-depositional Features: salts 

Basal Boundary: clear/wavy/anthropogenic
