Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: scoop; Deposition: homogeneous; Basal Spit: basal deposit
Dimensions: 0.27 N/S x 0.19 m E/W x 0.17 m
Discussion: (3947) represents a small, mixed deposit in cut (3948). It was made up of mixed bricky material of the floors and occupation deposits around it. It is difficult to interpret in its own right as it has been truncated by the post retreival cut (2712) to the W. It underlies the S end of F289 but has no direct relationship to this so does not appear to have been linked to its construction.
Recognition: A mixed deposit with red brick lumps at the S end of cut (2712).
