Discussion: Twelfth layer of floor lenses, platform F239.
Plaster layer, very patchy and discontinuous, not present in SE area of excavation, labelled 22 on plan 98-639, cracked in places.
Also fine dark lense underneath, 23 on plan 98-639.
Impossible to separate the two lenses so given same unit number.
Recognition: Floor of platform. Colour/texture changes.
Definition: Defined by limit of excavation.
Execution: Leaf trowel and patience.
Condition: Dry.
Consistency: fairly compact
Colour: 10 YR 8/2 very pale brown
Texture: ashy clay
Bedding: compound layered
Inclusions: small stones; hackberry impressions; small flecks of charcoal
Post-depositional Features: animal hole SE corner
Basal Boundary: pitted, not present in SE corner (discontinous)
