Discussion: The layer was clearly defined under Mellaart's backfill 3999. It didn't seem to have any clear assiciation with 4173 (firebase) or the circular feature to the south of it (which is thought to be a rebuild). The initial interpretation may be misleading - it may be incorporated with 3999.

Definition: good edge at the back of the oven 416. North limits well defined
