Discussion: This infill was very mixed, in some places it looked like brick + in some places like floor, but there were bits of oven debris in it + other inclusions.
This infill layer ended at the base of wall 401 and lay on darker, more compact infill 4321 which ran under wall 401
Slopes down do that much deeper at south end. Basal boundary is less clear towards south
Recognition: grey mixed deposit in wall 401, also light brown - very patchy + mixed
Definition: north - north wall shrine 10 level VII east - west wall shrine 10 B.6 south - to section west - wall 401
Execution: trowel
Condition: dry
Consistency: soft
Colour: grey with small patches of brown, white speckles
Texture: soft + silty
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: fairly large stones, shell, brick, charcoal, all <2% + quite small, quite a lot of plaster
Post-depositional Features: a lot of roots
Basal Boundary: uneven, prominent contrast, wavy, slopes down to south
