Discussion: wall plaster against wall 448 - wall plaster was behind remnants of floor layers ( 4371 ) - so appears as if this plaster represents initial plastering(s) of wall post construction before floor layers built up against it. This wall plaster was resting on a narrow ledge formed by the offset between wall 448 and the wall below.

Consistency: friable 

Colour: white or pale cream/light brown 

Texture: clay silt 

Bedding: compound layered - a layer of brown silt material against the wall plaster included within unit. - the wall plaster proper ( 20mm thick ) - layered 4 or 5? 

Inclusions: v.occ. charcoal flecks < 2% 

Post-depositional Features: occ. salt flecks < 2% 

Basal Boundary: constructional/very sharp/distinct/smooth?/flat
