Description: Composite of bricks (4550) and mortar (4551) in wall F.479. Not sieved but some material hand picked. 101 buckets (1010 litres) of base material removed after sampling of brocks (4550) and mortar (4551), excavated 26/05/99, removed 27/05/99. 

 

Discussion: Composite unit consisting of mixed bricks (4550) and mortar (4551) from wall F.479. Had to be excavated out of sequence because collapsed and for health and ssafety reasons had to be reduced to a safe size. Dry Sieve Information: Not dry sieved but may have hand picked finds
