Dimensions: 0.8m n-s, 0.71m high, 0.04 to 0.12m high 

 

Discussion: Western wall of bin F.466. Quite high and thin with graceful sinuous curving form. Made of mixed grey / orange core and plastered on both sides but no evidence of multiple re-plasterings. Relationship with wall plaster (4694) shows that it is not a primary feature but quite early in building sequence. 

 

Recognition: different colour / texture

Consistency: firm 

Colour: core - sand, outer - clay 

Texture: core light orangeish brown and grey, outer white 

Bedding: layered - core and outer plaster 

Inclusions: plant impressions

Basal Boundary: distinct, constructional, smooth, in depression
