Discussion: General dump/midden layer, deliberate attempt to raise height of area? Bioturbation suggests exposed for some time resulting in low-level soil formation.

Post-depositional Features: deep sounding, considerable biturbation from roots / insects 

Basal Boundary: faint, smooth, anthropogenic, sloping down to west and south

Unit description: F 230, 309 and 318 subsampled for ZooMS (DCO 2014) Flot sample 3311 (3) done- diagnostics and count A medium-sized unit, dominated by 003-sized bones. A lot of long bone shaft splinters, relatively few idable long bones, a high-ish percentage of metapodials, carpals/tarsals, and toes. Plenty of teeth + head remains. With all of this, maybe 85-90% are sheep/goat bones. Several worked bone fragments. Several pieces of microfauna. Some digestion, but a moderate number of bones were pronouncedly chewed by carnivores. A moderate quantity of burning and a little calcination. Weathering overall moderate-- very little either lightly or more heavily weathered. Completed: Sample 3, >4mm 100%, Flot no. 2991. Sample 4, flot no 2989. >4mm, 100%. Contains micro fauna and fish bones. Last number = 494
