Discussion: -Small semi-circular pit against east wall of space 173. From its location it may well be a post retrieval pit-especially as the fill suggests a rapid backfilling (see 4917). However the presence of numerous clay balls in the fill (see 4915) suggests a possible strange function like other small features in 163, 170 and 173.
