Definition: Below dark ridge and above mixed infill

Condition: Slightly moist, firm and heavily truncated 

Consistency: Firm 

Colour: Pale grey and pale beige 

Texture: Silty clay

Inclusions: <2% small bone fragments and charcoal flecks 

Post-depositional Features: Some root and insect disturbance 

Basal Boundary: Clear, smooth, anthropic
