Discussion: General layer of mixed, unstructured material covering the south end of Space 173. Originally thought to be an upper layer of room infill, but found to cover features cutting room infill to the south and therefore re-defined as floor make-up and probably the earliest flooring of this phase, though not the earliest feature.
Recognition: Mixed layer, cut and overlain by basal occupation deposits
